About Us

Student Exchange (SE) began in 2013 blending the cultural and academic exchange experience into one well-rounded opportunity for middle and high-school-aged international students. We offer both full year and semester programs across the US, as well as a summer program in Southern California.

We place F-1 students who attend one of our partner schools authorized by the Department of Homeland Security to issue an I-20. Schools can be public, private, charter or boarding. Most of our students reside with host families. The exception to this rule is some of our private and boarding schools.

Our host family division is a key part of our organization, as our students experience in the US can be greatly impacted based on the support they receive. Another vital part of our team is our Local Coordinators, who live in the areas where our students attend school, and our host families live. Local Coordinators bridge the gap between host families, students, the local community, and the rest of our SE family.
